Lost Path begins when the last traces of oxygen leave the body, when the eyes shut but feel open, when the consciousness can no longer process the outer world as it slowly fades. Distances become unapproachable. It’s the moment when the consciousness digs deep inside, coming back to the path that’s now ending—the moments of life when you felt something stronger than you could have expected. Maybe it was love, but the broken one. Maybe it was the moment when you felt you saw the god you probably never believed in. It could be that time when you walked past the street and felt connected to history, like you were a part of something bigger. When you felt the pain so strong you thought your body couldn’t handle it—and maybe it didn’t.
In this moment, all these moments are no longer a story with a narrative, with something leading to them, with them being possibly explained. It is flashes, unconnected, detached, that feel like a part of one whole process that is happening right now. And now—it ends
